Yannick Potts

Coach Yannick has been the head coach of Medford wave since 2012 and he brings an array of knowledge and experience to the sport of swimming and Medford Wave, having kids stand out at Jr. Olympics and qualify for Jr. Nationals during his tenure. Coach Yannick swam all his life but did not start putting in the serious hours it takes to excel in the sport, until he made the move from rec swim to competitive swimming at the age of 14. From there he would go on to set a National Record and make several of Trinidad and Tobago’s national teams. In 2006 Coach Yannick moved to New Jersey to continue his swim career at Saint Peters College. The philosophy that coach Yannick brings is, train the way you want to race.
